What those four facts mean
Certified, not registered. Florida separates registered contractors, who may work only in the local jurisdictions where they have registered, from certified contractors, who are examined and approved at state level. A Certified General Contractor — the CGC prefix — is the state-level credential, and its scope is not capped by trade.
Held since 2011, current through 2028. A licence is not a one-time achievement. It has to be renewed, kept insured, and kept clear. Fifteen years of holding one is a record, not a certificate.
A Florida company since 2009, in continuous good standing. The LLC has been filed and current, without lapse, for that entire period.
A+ with the Better Business Bureau. The highest rating the BBB issues.

A remodel is only as sound as the people on site. Before Aye Aye Construction awards a project or issues payment, every trade partner supplies three documents.

Current IRS version, signed within the last year.
General liability certificate
Listing Aye Aye Construction as additional insured.
Workers’ compensation
Proof of coverage, or an official state exemption certificate.

We work along the Okaloosa County coast — condominiums, second homes and year-round residences. Coastal construction carries constraints inland work does not: humidity and salt air affect material choice, and condominium associations control access, elevator use and working hours.
